Flawless Snow White paint has been applied to the body and back of the neck with thin nitro lacquer coating to preserve resonance. The vintage crème binding lining the body and neck is the final sublime tour de force of skillful craftsmanship, with beautifully smooth seams and no gaps or areas pulling away. High quality gold Tune-O-Matic bridge, pickup covers and vintage Kluson-style tuners round out the options, making for a premium and impactful aesthetic package.

The masterfully shaped C-profile one-piece mahogany set neck feels amazing in hand and creates the fullness essential to the ES sound. In practice, that means a shape that feels substantial enough to anchor your hand, but modern enough to stay comfortable and fast over long playing sessions. The Gotoh hardware, locking tuners, and carefully considered control layout reinforce the same overall impression: this is not a guitar trying to impress with excess. Others earn it by being built right from the start. The Tokai Breezysound has that quiet, confidence-inspiring feel: resonant materials, clean execution, and a balanced, musical T-style voice that feels equally at home clean, driven, or anywhere in between.

Description

The Tokai Breezysound represents one of Japan's longest-running interpretations of the classic T-style electric guitar. Built around a straightforward philosophy of strong fundamentals, dependable construction, and musical responsiveness, it delivers the direct feel and unmistakable character that have made this platform a staple of working players for decades.

What makes the Breezysound compelling isn't a long list of features. It's the way the instrument feels resolved. Tokai has earned its reputation by focusing on the things that matter most in a guitar: outstanding attention to detail, carefully selected materials, consistent construction, clean fretwork, stable hardware, and a playing experience that feels intentional rather than accidental.

The value here is not complexity. It is execution. That matters because a T-style guitar is an honest design. There is very little to hide behind. The quality of the wood, neck feel, fretwork, resonance, and setup all come through immediately. A good one feels alive, balanced, and direct — and that is exactly why the Breezysound belongs here.

The alder body supports that role especially well, giving the guitar a balanced, musical response that works easily across clean, edge-of-breakup, and driven sounds without pushing the instrument too far in any one direction.

Notes remain clear and articulate, chords retain separation and definition, and the guitar responds naturally to changes in pick attack and volume settings. Whether your style leans toward country, rock, indie, blues, pop, roots, or anything in between, the Breezysound provides a versatile foundation that rewards touch, timing, and nuance.

Specifications

Model: Tokai Breezysound ATE-101R
Color: White Blonde
Weight: (TBD)
Case: Gig Bag
Profile & Thickness: “U”Shape / 1F:21.5mm 12F:24.0mm
Nut width (measured): (TBD)
12th fret width (measured): (TBD)
1st fret depth (measured): (TBD)
12th fret depth (measured): (TBD)
Body: 2PC Alder
Neck: 1PC Maple
Fingerboard: 1PC Rosewood
Inlays: Ivory (Dots)
Scale Length: 25.5"
Radius: 9.5”
Nut Width: 1.65”
Nut Material: Bone
Frets: 22
Pickups: GOTOH TL-Classic_α (Neck), GOTOH TL-Classic_α (Bridge)
Controls: Master Volume (500K pot), Master Tone (250K pot), 3-Way Pickup Selector
Capacitor: Sprague Orange Drop 715P 600V 473J
Jack Plate: Mono T-type Jack
Bridge: TE-VB
Tuners: GOTOH SD91-05ML
Finish: Polyurethene
Strings: GHS GBXL 009-042
Accessories: Hex Key 5.0mm,1.5mm

Why Buy From Professor Nigel's

Curated, Working-Player Gear — Every product here earns its place by solving a real musical problem—not by filling shelf space.

Authorized Dealer Confidence — Brand new gear from an authorized dealer, chosen with intention and backed by clear, reliable support.

Fast, Reliable Shipping from Phoenix, AZ — Orders move quickly and securely, with clear communication every step of the way.

Please inspect promptly upon delivery.
