Description
Limetone funther Overdrive and Boost
Why we love it
Detailed without being harsh, this is a fantastic sounding, punchy, glossy, three-dimensional overdrive great for chords and lead that can also be used as a boost with character. Easy to get great tones and does wonders pushing a quality tube amp. Discontinued, but we’ll be looking to dig up a few others as this is a favorite in the shop.
Condition
This effects pedal is in Excellent (near Mint) condition. There are a couple chips on the back of the pedal that keep this one from a Mint rating. Â This unit has been tested and all functions are operational. The original packaging and instructions are included.
Manufacturer Description
A low to medium gain overdrive that brings out the best in both the player and their instrument.
It drives the original sound without compromising its three-dimensionality or the resonance of the strings, and transmits the nuances of your playing directly to the amplifier.
Based on the tone of the instrument and the player used, it creates a glossy, three-dimensional drive sound. Even when playing a chord, the resonance of each string is distorted without being crushed.
There are three controls: Volume, Gain, and Tone. When you turn down the Tone control slightly, centered around 12 o’clock, you get a mellow sound with a warm midrange and clear highs. When you turn up the Tone control, the highs gradually become more edgy.
Developed based on the sound of irodori, it is designed to be comfortable and easy to play for players. It can also be used as a booster.
It can be used with any guitar, but it works particularly well with single-coil guitars, allowing you to create a drive sound with good sound projection.
