Fender Made in Japan Hybrid 50s Telecaster – US Blonde
Why we love it
The original Hybrid Telecaster series with US-made Pure Vintage ’58 Pickups are some of the finest Telecasters to come out of Japan. Looking sharp in US Blonde showing off striking ash grain, this Tele offers the best of vintage vibe and modern playability.
Condition
Rated as Excellent (near mint), this Telecaster has been well-cared-for and shows only minor signs of use, such as fine pick marks on the pickguard and a few small scuffs around the body. There are surface scratches on the neck plate that show up in direct lighting but are not as visible in normal room lighting (pictured). The frets show almost no wear, and the neck shows no signs of warping or waviness. Electronics are fully functional, and the truss rod is in excellent working order with plenty of adjustability.
Currently strung with fresh D’Addario EXL 110s, it’s set up with optimal relief, medium action, dialed-in intonation, and adjusted pickup heights to bring out the best in tone and comfort. Weighing in at 7.3 pounds, it’s well balanced and ready to play for hours on end. Includes original paperwork and a brand-new Fender FE620 gig bag with ample 20mm cushion for secure transport. Optional hard case available upon request.
