Manufacturer Description
This is a bass model of the GW-1. Like the GW-1, it is a booster that uses germanium diodes, which are currently difficult to obtain, and can create a sound that is a little different from the typical silicon diodes.
When a germanium diode is distorted, it produces a waveform with rounded edges, similar to the waveform produced when distorting a vacuum tube, and the sound is similar to that of a distorted amplifier.
You can achieve outstanding sound even in live performances and recordings without being overshadowed even in an ensemble. It is also equipped with a switch that allows you to boost the gain, allowing you to cover a wide range of sounds from clean tones to lead sounds.
