Why we love it
The Lemongrass is essentially a boutique homage to the Tube Screamer, but with a unique circuit design, optional extra 10db boost circuit, and lots of tube amp mojo. Excellent stuff as always from Blackberry JAM that works magic with a variety of tube and transistor amps.
Condition
This effects pedal is in Excellent (near mint) condition, with few signs of prior use that do not impact sound or functionality. The original packaging and instructions are included. An aftermarket red button was added to the boost switch. This can be removed if desired.

This is a Tube Screamer with a completely different concept from the circuit design stage onwards. Based on a natural tone, we focused on clear and smooth playability.
The Boost circuit located in the gain stage boasts a maximum boost of 10db, boosting the volume, gain, and full-range tone. This allows you to control the amount of gain from a high-resolution crunch to a thick hot overdrive when boosted, while still producing a clean sound reminiscent of the beautiful clean channel of a vacuum tube amplifier.
Many people use small transistor amplifiers in their home environments, but in that case, the tube feeling is weak and many people may feel unsatisfied. In such a case, try connecting it just before the amplifier.
“Lemongrass” is a preamp booster that not only adds the texture of a vacuum tube to transistor amplifiers such as JC, but also allows you to experience the realistic roar of a vacuum tube amplifier when boosting it, as if you were correcting a worn-out vacuum tube amplifier or adding an additional channel to the amplifier.
