Description
Boss DD-3 Digital Delay – 1986 Long Chip Blue Label
Can’t decide between the DD-2 and DD-3? Check out our blog post comparing the DD-2 with early and later DD-3 versions.
Why we love it
A stalwart of great sounding classic digital delay crammed into a stompbox. Delay times from 12.5ms to 800ms, optional stereo output, and a direct (dry) output. You can’t go wrong with this one.
Condition
This effects pedal is in Very Good condition. There are scuffs and scratches on the exterior. This does not impact sound or functionality. The serial number indicates a build date of November 1986 making it a “Long Chip” MIJ version with an identical delay circuit to the earlier DD-2. This unit has been thoroughly cleaned and tested. We replaced the original deteriorating rubber screw gasket. All functions are operational. The original packaging and instructions are not included.
