Overview
Produced exclusively for the Japanese market as a limited production ’75 Jazz Bass reissue somewhere between 2007-2010, this stunner is ready to dish out deep grooves and turn heads. Period appropriate features include Fender chrome pickup covers, vintage spec 7.25-inch radius maple neck, 3-bolt neck joint with micro-tilt mechanism, creme neck binding and pearloid block inlays, head-side bullet type truss rod nut, and large trapezoidal tuning peg plates. Beautifully applied Lake Placid Blue paint adorns the alder body and headstock.
The superbly crafted maple neck is a svelte, easy playing C-profile with gloss urethane finish, creme binding around the rosewood fretboard, and real bone nut. The gloss finish on the neck is smooth and flawless. The fretwork is outstanding and lower action is possible if that is your preference.

Electronics and Tone
Whether plucked, slapped, or picked, the tone from the JB75-US is excellent, with plenty of low-end punch, midrange complexity and treble sparkle. The US-made Jazz Bass single coil Jazz single-coil pickups are the same as those used for the American Standard Jazz, offering a decidedly more upscale tone than lower tier pickups with excellent focus, growl, and clarity from the bridge pickup, and round low end depth and thump from the neck pickup. Controls are traditional neck volume, bridge volume, and master tone.
