Condition

This bass is in Excellent condition with only minor signs of prior use. It is a consignment from a local musician, was purchased as a backup instrument, and has seen little use. There are a few very small blemishes around the edge of the body. There are some very light marks on the back of the neck. The dual truss rods are in good working order with smooth adjustability in both directions. The neck is straight with no signs of warping or waviness. The frets show minor signs of wear. The electronics are in perfect working order. It has been set up for medium action with optimally adjusted relief and intonation dialed in up and down the neck. This beautiful bass weighs in at 9.7 pounds. A set of D’Addario Chromes flatwound strings in great condition is currently on the bass. If you’d prefer roundwound strings, please message us and we can accommodate that change prior to shipping. A Road Runner hardshell case, black leather strap, and two cables are included.

Overview

Ibanez has created a bass with boutique styling and appointments at a price the working musician can afford. The Ibanez BTB675 electric bass incorporates premium bass tonewoods such as walnut and bubinga with premium electronics and hardware.

Ibanez basses have long been known for their excellent necks. The BTB675 uses neck-through construction, which gives the bass better vibrational and tonal transfer throughout the entire instrument. The 35-inch scale length provides more tension for better low frequency definition and punch, particularly providing better feel and clarity on the 5th string. The 5-piece neck is constructed of maple with bubinga stripes. This adds up to great aesthetics and killer stability, playability, and tone. The deep cutaway gives you unencumbered access to the upper fretboard and the modern D profile offers great playability and comfort up and down the fingerboard. A light ash body with walnut top and rosewood fretboard complete the picture making the Ibanez BTB675 a bass player’s dream.

The unique Mono-Rail II bridge is used on the BTB675 giving you the best string separation possible. Each string has its own separate mini-bridge, this keeps strings from interfering with each other’s vibrations as with traditional bridges.

Electronics

Ibanez BTB675 basses come out of the factory with Bartolini pickups and preamps installed. Humbucking Bartolini BH1 pickups use ceramic magnets to give you a warm tone with superior dynamics. A great sounding and very usable 3-band EQ adds a great deal of tonal flexibility to the BTB675 and lets you dial in the perfect sound to accommodate any genre or musical situation you might encounter.
