The essence of the SG form – lightweight, aggressive, and unmistakably bold – in an incredibly well-crafted made in Japan build. A fantastic all-around guitar and huge value for money. Super tight fit and finish, exceptionally resonant, a delight to play. Plug in, turn everything up to 11, and let those snarling humbuckers power your favorite riffs. The SG124 is the same spec as the current SG136 and a higher specification than SG101.

Condition

This guitar is in Excellent (near mint) condition with minor signs of prior use. There is no significant damage. There are light surface scratches around the front strap button (pictured). There are very minor fine surface scratches scattered over the body. There is a very light patina on the bridge and pickups. There are very minor signs of fret wear. The truss rod has room in both directions and functions normally. There is no warping or waviness in the neck. All electronics function as intended.

The original Tokai gig bag is included. This guitar has been thoroughly inspected by our tech to ensure proper function and verify condition. A professional set up has been completed with new roundwound 10-46 strings, medium action, optimal relief, pickup height, and dialed in intonation. This SG124 weighs 6.75 pounds.

Each Tokai SG124 is crafted in Japan using traditional construction methods and features vintage correct appointments, such as: top hat knobs with pointers, 61 style pickguard, oversized headstock with crown inlay, flared-trapezoid fretboard inlays, PAF style pickups and Kluson style machine heads.
