The Cacao is a boutique handmade preamp and overdrive pedal carefully designed to have the feel and sound of a Marshall 1987 tube amp.  Production of this pedal has ended, and it is becoming difficult to find in Japan and very rare to find outside of Japan.

Blackberry JAM operates a stylish cafe and effects studio in Koenji, Tokyo. The brand's founder, Mr. Nasu, designs the circuits for the handmade original effectors, and his wife designs the casing, including the overall color and control knob selection, as well as the model naming.

Condition

This effects pedal is in Excellent condition. The only signs of prior use are a small scratch on the name plate and Velcro tape attached to the bottom of the pedal. This does not impact sound or functionality. The original packaging and instructions are included.

The "Cacao" is a pedal that reproduces the Marshall 1987 sound up to mid-1973.

Many people know that the sound of a PTP-wired 1987 with the best tuning has an appeal that is not limited to hard rock, but can be used in all genres.
