Blackberry JAM Dandelion High-Gain Distortion

Professor’s Notes

A departure from many of Blackberry JAMs other pedal offerings dishing out tight, fluid, high-gain distortion with tons of sustain. Plenty of high-mids and treble that sounds fantastic paired with warmer pickups but might get too pointy with brighter pickups. Hardly a one trick high-gain monster, many favorite settings were in the 7-10 o’clock range of the gain knob where some fantastic crunch and distortion tones live.

Condition

This effects pedal is in Excellent condition, with minor signs of prior use that do not impact sound or functionality. The brass faceplate shows signs of patina forming. The original instructions and box are included. Thoroughly cleaned and tested with a compatible power supply and 9v battery.

Description

Smooth high-gain distortion with a sense of saturation!

"Dandelion" is a brilliant and smooth high-gain distortion with a lot of even harmonics that can be enjoyed with triode operation. When the gain knob is set to 12 o'clock or later, a sense of saturation is added, making it possible to create a high-tension, thrashy sound. It

responds emotionally to the nuances of the guitar, so it is also recommended for playing with a blues feeling at low gain settings.

The gain range is wide, so you can find your favorite point and enjoy it.

Blackberry JAM operates a stylish cafe and effects studio in Koenji, Tokyo. The brand's founder, Mr. Nasu, designs the circuits for the handmade original effectors, and his wife designs the casing, including the overall color and control knob selection, as well as the model naming.
