The Electro-Harmonix Crash Pad revives the company’s classic analog drum synthesizer from the late ’70s, reimagined with modern reliability and expanded control. Designed to deliver everything from thunderous bass hits to wild, modulated white-noise bursts, the Crash Pad brings vintage synth percussion into today’s rigs. The Sweep control shapes pitch decay, while Resonance, Filter, and Decay knobs sculpt each hit to taste—fat and warm or sharp and snappy.

It can be triggered by a drum pad, sequencer, synth, or any external source. The external audio input even lets you process guitars, synths, or drum machines through its analog filter for lo-fi textures and rhythmic movement. Whether used as a percussion voice or an experimental sound design tool, the Crash Pad delivers pure analog energy that electrifies any mix.
