Description
The Electro-Harmonix Deluxe Big Muff Pi expands the sonic legacy of the original Big Muff with an extensive suite of tone-shaping tools. At its core is the classic Muff circuit—smooth sustain, thick fuzz, and rich harmonics—but this Deluxe version adds EQ flexibility, boost options, noise gating, mids shaping, and expression control for a far more versatile fuzz platform.

The adjustable Mids section is the star of the show, allowing you to boost or cut a selectable frequency to create focused leads, scooped rhythms, or heavy mid-forward punch. The Gate tightens high-gain settings, while the Attack control restores pick dynamics often lost in thick fuzz. A built-in Boost switch adds extra push when needed, and an expression pedal input lets you sweep the mids frequency in real time for wah-like or synth-like movements.

It’s the most flexible Big Muff ever built—capable of vintage tones, modern aggression, and experimental textures—all while retaining that unmistakable Muff character players adore.
