Description

The Laney Lionheart Foundry LF60-112 was built around a very specific idea: capture the touch sensitivity and dynamic response of the original Lionheart tube amps in a practical, reliable analog format.

This is not a modeling amp. It’s a fully analog signal path designed to behave like a traditional amplifier — responsive, predictable with pedals, and easy to dial in quickly. Laney mapped the tone stack, EQ circuits, and gain stages from their tube Lionheart range using discrete analog components to preserve the feel players expect.

At 60 watts with a full 12" speaker, the LF60-112 has enough clean headroom for rehearsals and small-to-medium gigs, while the <1-watt power mode makes it genuinely usable at home without sacrificing tone. That range — practice to stage — is where this amp earns its place.

The built-in boost effectively functions like a third channel, pushing clean tones into edge-of-breakup or taking lead tones further without needing an extra pedal. Add a proper effects loop, headphone output with speaker emulation, and straightforward controls, and you get an amp that behaves like a traditional working tool — not a menu system.
