The Oopegg Supreme Collection Trailbreaker Mark-II Limited Edition is a thoughtfully handmade Japanese instrument that feels both distinctive and immediately familiar in the best ways. The ash top and alder back create a balanced, complex midrange with real immediacy and snap, giving the guitar a voice that feels alive under the hands rather than smoothed over or generic.

Its semi-acoustic construction adds air and openness, but importantly, not at the expense of focus or substance. There is still weight to the note, clarity across the fingerboard, and a sense of control that keeps the instrument grounded even as it breathes more than a fully solid design. It has that rare quality of sounding spacious while still feeling resolved.

The 24.75" scale contributes to an easy, inviting playing feel, but without the tradeoffs some players expect. Low notes stay focused, the attack remains clear, and the overall response feels composed rather than soft.
