Description
The Electro-Harmonix Nano Clone is a compact analog chorus based on the circuit lineage of the classic Small Clone. Its goal isn’t versatility or customization — it’s delivering a familiar, musical chorus sound that adds width and movement without calling attention to itself.

With a single Rate control, the Nano Clone keeps operation straightforward. Turn it down for slow, subtle modulation that thickens clean tones and adds dimension to lightly driven sounds, or turn it up for a faster, more pronounced swirl. The core voice stays warm and smooth, making it easy to place in a mix without fighting the guitar’s fundamental tone.

We find the Nano Clone works best as a default chorus — something you can leave on a board indefinitely, ready when a part needs motion but not character. It’s not meant to replace feature-rich chorus pedals or multi-modulation units; it’s meant to solve the chorus question quietly and consistently.

Quick Start

• Start low: Set Rate below noon for subtle width and doubling.
• Increase slowly: Turn Rate up only until the movement becomes noticeable — the sweet spot is often lower than expected.
