The Kerberos is raw and substantial at higher gain, but exceptionally responsive to the guitar’s volume control, opening up everything from articulate boost and gritty breakup to full-bodied fuzz.

Condition
This effects pedal is in Excellent condition with few signs of prior use, including minor chips and scratches. This unit has been thoroughly cleaned and tested with a compatible power supply and 9v battery. All functions are operational with no issues. The original box and paperwork are included.

Description
The Organic Sounds Kerberos OB-K is an original handmade Japanese fuzz design built around an unusually simple concept: a single three-position rotary switch selects between three carefully voiced gain structures, with the guitar itself becoming an important part of the control surface.

Organic Sounds describes the Kerberos as its first original fuzz pedal, with all three modes retaining a distinctly vintage character and strong response to the guitar’s volume control. Rather than providing conventional Gain, Tone, and Volume knobs, each position presents a complete fuzz voice with its own gain and response characteristics.

The three modes progress from a classic vintage fuzz voice to a thicker, more mid-forward modern setting and finally to a considerably more aggressive, unruly high-gain fuzz.

What makes the Kerberos especially interesting is how much variation remains available once a mode is selected. The circuit reacts strongly to picking dynamics and guitar-volume changes, allowing the sound to move from relatively clean and articulate through progressively richer drive and fuzz without touching the pedal itself. Dealers also note that the pedal has substantial output, giving it plenty of authority when pushing an amplifier or another gain stage.

The simplicity is part of the design rather than a limitation.
