Description
The sobbat DB-3 is the most full-bodied entry in the Drive Breaker line, designed to deliver a thicker, more grounded overdrive voice than the earlier DB-1 and DB-2. It emphasizes low-mid presence and controlled top end, making it easy to dial in gain without harshness or fizz.

The core drive circuit ranges from articulate crunch to dense, singing distortion, while the independent boost circuit is tuned to enhance sustain and push the signal forward for leads without dramatically reshaping the EQ. The result is a pedal that behaves more like a gain stage within a rig than a one-dimensional effect.

Originally voiced with humbuckers in mind, the DB-3 also pairs exceptionally well with single coils, where its added body and smooth top end help balance brighter instruments.
